Hives

Appearance of local wheals and erythema accompanied by itching of the skin, rashes mainly on back of the hands, feet, eyelids, genitalia, mucous membranes. Edema of the upper airways may produce respiratory distress and may mimic asthma. Hives may appear as a single small wheal or may enlarge. It may disappear in few hours or it may last for 1-7 days. Chronic hives occur very often or daily for years.

Hives are due to some allergy to food, drink, drugs, weather changes, environmental agents, cosmetics, animals, or emotional problems.

Since hives are almost always due to allergies, it can be tested by NTT (Nambudripad’s testing techniques) and treated by NAET®(Nambudripad’s Allergy Elimination Techniques).
